Floriography

Since ancient times, certain flowers had held specific meanings. Floriography reached it's height during Victorian times because flower choices were limited and society used more symbols and gestures to communicate than words.

Today flower choices and variety are almost unlimited, and there are no rules regarding the choice you make - rather the sentiment is what gives the floral gift its meaning. Many people assign their own special meaning - a flower or colour might remind them of a special event or moment in their lives.
